Kentucky – Empty Stick Spacing Concept

Kentucky uses a quick snap / tempo play to get an easy completion for a TD vs LSU. UK aligns in a 3×2 Empty Formation with reduced splits and run a spacing concept from the field (3 WR side) and a stick concept into the boundary (2 WR side). The QB is looking to stick side first and will work back to the spacing concept if the stick isn’t there. Running this play with tempo catches LSU off balance and they are not discipline with their eyes in their C1 defense and matchups.
