Arizona – QB Counter

This was a great play for an offense with a running QB. It is becoming a prevalent play in college football. This weekend Arizona ran it to perfection vs Texas Tech for an 83-yard TD. Arizona lucked out and caught Tech in a 5-man pressure. We have drawn this play up vs the actual look from the game, but also vs base looks. This play is great to put defensive players in conflict, it’s a great downhill or perimeter run, and can be paired well with RPOs to put the defense in even more stress.
