RB Slip Screen

X’S & O’S: RUNNING BACK SLIP SCREEN was first published by AFCA Insider in conjunction with Just Play Sports Solutions.

As with most screens, the Running Back Slip Screen first invites the pass rush. The T-back must be patient and use great footwork to “slip” through the rushers to the flat, catching the ball nearly on the play-side tackle’s original alignment. By this time, the center, play-side guard and back-side guard should have moved into proper position to secure their blocks.
