Tampa Bay – Split Zone PAP
Tampa Bay knew they were going to get man coverage when they got close to the endzone and this Split Zone Play Action Pass was designed and run perfectly to beat it. The zone fake forces the LB to step up and the End knows Brady is not a run threat so he crashes hard to stop the RB. This allows Y (Rob Gronkowski) to come across the formation after the snap and easily release to the flat. X (Mike Evans) runs a one-step slant and is looking to force the Safety covering Gronk to go around him. This and the free release to the flat make for a simple throw and catch for an easy TD.
